Ethics Training

32170276 - salt lake city at night panorama with capitol building. salt lake city, utah, united states.

In the 2015 legislative session HB 216 was passed requiring each state agency to provide training on:

  • Ethical conduct; and
  • Organizational leadership practices based in principles of integrity

Training in these areas is to be provided at a minimum every other year beginning in July 2016.

Recognizing that not all agencies have the resources to create and provide such training, DHRM has produced two separate online courses to help fill this need. The course are as follows:

  1. Ethics Training – A generalized course that focuses on ethics, ethical dilemmas and ethical standards that all state employees are responsible for understanding and following.
  2. Leading with Integrity – A series of learning modules that focus on leadership practices based on principles of integrity.
