Important Notice for Internet Explorer browser users:
The Production ESS System will be upgraded November 20-22. On November 23, the only browsers that will work with the upgraded ESS are: Google Chrome,Mozilla Firefox, and/or Edge (Edge is for Windows 10 users). Internet Explorer will not work, therefore IE users are encouraged to begin using one of these alternate browsers now.
The Employee Self Serve system allows employees to enter hours worked in order to be paid. The deadline for a non-holiday week is Monday at 11:59 p.m. If you are unable to enter time before this cutoff a paper time sheet will be required.
The Employee Resource Information Center (ERIC) currently processes payroll for all state agencies except for the Dept. of Transportation, Dept. of Technology Services, Dept. of Natural Resources, and Dept. of Public Safety.
If you have missed the entry deadline or need to make a correction, please complete a paper time sheet and send to ERIC payroll via the AskHR system on this site or via email to email@example.com. Due to the inability to track faxes our preferred submission method is currently email, but if needed you may also fax your paper time sheet to (801) 538-3616.
If ERIC processes payroll for your agency and you have questions please call (801) 538-3742 for assistance. If you are employed by one of the above mentioned agencies for which the ERIC does not process payroll, please contact your agency’s payroll coordinator.
