The Department of Government Operations creates innovative solutions to transform government services. History of DHRM

On July 1, 2021, the Division of Human Resource Management become part of the Department of Government Operations. This change is a result of the Utah Legislature passing S.B. 181. The agency was renamed the Division of Human Resource Management. In July 2007, the Division of Human Resource Management consolidated all HR services and staff into one department. Prior to consolidation, state agency HR Staff reported to and were funded by state agencies.
