In addition to the material learned in the core program courses of the Utah Certified Public Manager® (CPM) training, candidates must complete 20-40 hours of approved elective credit. Elective credit can be obtained through courses offered by approved elective credit providers, alternative or continuing education, independent project, independent study, or service in the Utah Society of Certified Public Managers®.
