Leave benefits are offered to all eligible state employees and all leave usage must be coordinated with an employee’s supervisor in accordance with Division of Human Resource Management Rules along with agency policy.
Annual leave accrual is based on an employee’s years of benefited service and the number of hours earned are prorated depending on the number of hours worked in a pay period.
Other leave types such as Sick, Holiday and Bereavement (Funeral) leave have a defined amount provided per pay period or per occurrence whichever is applicable. (please note: sick leave accrual and holiday hours paid will also be prorated base on number of hours paid in a pay period).
Other types of leave are available to eligible employees and must be coordinated with your Human Resource Specialist.
